(More customer reviews)I recently purchased this cradle for my iPhone 3GS, and I also ordered the Pro-Clip Angled Mount ($30) for a 2003 Nissan Maxima. Right now I'm only using this unit as a place to hold and charge my phone, but Dice does make other products for incorporating iPod connectivity. Therefore I can't comment on its music quality. (There is nothing out there yet for my '03 Maxima that will allow me to use my steering wheel controls.) Pros: this unit comes with six different size clips to hold several versions of the iPod and iPhone, including the iPhone 4. My iPhone fits perfectly, slides in and out with ease, and connects to the pin connector with no problems. It was easy to install, and works as intended for charging. On the downside, I think the quality of the plastic and assembly is pretty cheap, especially considering the cost. Nor does it come with its own vehicle specific mounting clip/bracket, so I'm out $110 combined for what should be a simple set-up. Alas, this is about the only real option out there.
But since Dice seems to be one of the few companies I could find on the web that is making any any devices for playing an iPod through my factory Bose radio, so I'm hopeful that they soon come up with a solution that is plug and play that also allows me to continue to use my existing steering wheel controls. Using their cradle just makes sense.
