(More customer reviews)I bought the Peripheral iPod integration (PXDX) for my Corolla 2008 Sports last 2007. It works great on my iPhone 2G. But when Apple release the 3G and there next future iPod/iPhone version, Apple remove the 12 volts charging support. Although the audio functionality works, it's no longer charge my iPhone 3G/3GS. Then I saw this cable, it only needs to replace the old cable and not the whole system. And since I already installed the system previously, replacing just the cable is a lot easier. I can now charge my new iPhone 4 while listening to music without buying new expensive integration system.
Note: If you have iPhone 4 bumber case, the connector will not fit on the case. What I did is trim some connector plastic/rubber so it will fit on the bumper case.
