It was a bit difficult to install because the backing didn't want to separate from the adhesive tape too easily, but I got it on after a little bit of struggle. This step guard seems flimsy when compared to other bumper step guards I have seen on other vehicles, and in my opinion it wouldn't protect well against anything really heavy you might inadvertently drop on your bumper while loading. Still, I would recommend this item as it is functional, stylish, and inexpensive and there don't seem to be any other bumper guards available for this model of vehicle.
