(More customer reviews)This was a very easy install. Nothing to remove and only eight bolts for the installation. The pictures on the instructions are a little fuzzy, but once you look at the brackets and get under the front of the vehicle, it is clear how the Bull Bar installs. In both pictures, the front of the vehicle is to the right. It helps to have a wobble extension for your ratchet, since one of the nuts is a bit hard to reach, but you can work around that with a little patience. I did not have to remove anything else to do this install, which is more than I can say for most of the accessories I purchased for the vehicle.
I installed this bull bar on a 2011 FJ Cruiser. The literature says it is for a 2007-2010, but it fits perfectly and consistent with the instructions on the 2011. I was even able to retain the factory skid plate, which some web sites said had to be removed.
A saw that a separate license plate holder is offered, but the factory license plate mounts allow good visibility of the plate, so it seems unnecessary.
The quality and packaging were also good on this item.
