(More customer reviews)I bought this thinking I would change up the front of my 2008 4x4 F250. I put a lot thought into going with the 4" bull bar because I wanted something bigger for a big truck. Well it's big enough and that's all I can say. It feels as it was made of beer cans. It is the cheapest please of crap I have ever seen, and for Arise to charge almost $500 for it, what a freaking joke. I kept it and had it powder coated black hoping that it would make it feel a little thicker and it did after two coats. (my truck is trimmed in black and they don't sell a black 4" bull bar) Anyway, the first rock or debris to hit it will destroy it. There is NO protection to this bull bar, hell, I am scared to put lights on it because if I were to have to tighten anything down on it, it would probably bend or could not handle the weight of lights.
My neighbor came over last night to look at it and said it looked good. I was hoping that he would not touch it, then he did...and then he thumped it and it sounded like an empty beer can. He said "What a peace of crap I hope you did not pay much for it". I told him that I got it on sale for $150 and the he told me "Dam I wouldn't paid $50 for it" He is right, it's not worth $50.00. It looks good; however, I will have to take it off before heading to my land in Lexington Tx. or anytime that I might think I will get off-road because it will get destroyed. Hey I just thought a plus side to this flimsy thing. It's light as a feather and be taken off or put on easily by one person.
